What does interior painting involve?
Preparation comes first and the paint goes on last. Holes and cracks are patched and sanded smooth, then the walls, ceilings, doors and trim get two coats. Which rooms and which surfaces are painted is set out line by line in the quote.
Do you patch the walls before you paint?
Yes. Holes and cracks are patched and sanded first, because paint shows them. A wall that needs more than a patch is drywall work, and it is done before the paint. Doors and trim are painted as part of the job, and new ones are covered by doors, trim and millwork.
Will you paint just one room, and how is it priced?
Yes. No job is too small, from one door to a whole floor. Every job is priced with you before work starts: small jobs at a set price, bigger jobs with a written quote. The quote is written line by line, each line with its own price, and HST (13%) is added at the end. See what a quote looks like.
Are you insured, and is the work guaranteed?
Yes to both. Reborn Renos is insured and covered by WSIB. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, as written in your contract. Reborn Renos is a new business, run by an owner with seven years in the trade. The common questions have the same answers.
Do you paint rentals and businesses too?
Yes. Landlords get the same painting between tenants, and small businesses get it too. In the common areas of a rental building, railings and stair stringers are painted as well. See property turnovers for units made ready for the next tenant and common areas and balconies for the shared spaces.
Where do you work, and how do I book?
